HI, I am Deborah

I know what it’s like to move because I’ve lived in 5 different countries. I’ve been helping expats and expats-to-be for the last 6 years to create their best life abroad.

Why?

I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with an international relocation. So I created a course that I wish I had when I was preparing for my moves abroad, so you are fully prepared and successful in your new country.

How can I help you?

I’ve been an expat for over 40 years and I’ve helped dozens of people prepare for a move. You’ll have a structure and blueprint to approach the issues you know you need and the ones you had no idea were important!

This is for you if...

You decided to move abroad but need help in getting the preparation started

You feel the overwhelm, excitement and anxiety of preparing for an international relocation and could use a structure to get organized and centered.

What’s in the Course

Get Organized

You’ll learn the basics to get organized and find the best way to plan the paperwork and financial aspects of your move.

In this module you’ll learn how the overwhelm can hinder your decision-making process and how to reduce it before it becomes a problem.

Ditch The Overwhelm

What to Pack

Deciding what to pack and what to leave can be super stressful. In this module you’ll get a blueprint so you can follow the steps and know you are making mindful decisions.

Loneliness is one of the top 3 challenges of expats. It can be hard to make new friends from scratch. In this module you’ll create your strategy to make new friends, adjust your expectations and feel connected even before you move!

Making Friends

Learning The Language

When moving abroad, learning a new language can seem like a top priority. In this module, you’ll create your language learning goal and learning style so you can create a strategy that works for you and your objectives.

In this module you’ll tap into questions you didn’t even know were important. You’ll clarify what you are moving for instead of focusing only on why you want to move.

What Are You Moving For?

Create Your Best Life Abroad

At the end of this course you will have a blueprint

to guide you through the important steps of adjusting to a new country.

You will have all the tools to create your best life abroad!

We are around 70 years old and are contemplating moving to a new country for the first time. We found the course ‘How to Prepare for your Scouting Trip’ informative, inspiring and useful. We appreciated the worksheets Deborah had prepared, and the questions she posed really helped us to focus on what we wanted to obtain from our scouting trip. We found Deborah’s presentations to be pleasant, positive, engaging and clear.

★★★★★

I found group workshop sessions with Deborah really useful. Her relaxed approach and obviously experienced skill in managing the groups was reassuring and her English is fluent. I got a lot out of the two groups I attended - insights that have stayed with me and made settling in a lot easier than it might have been.
